Mr. Rabindra Nath Mishra is an officer of the Indian Railways Accounts Service (IRAS) of 1997 batch. Currently serving as the Executive Director of Finance (Commercial & PPP) in the Ministry of Railways, he brings extensive experience from various positions within the Railways and other organizations, including, Dy Chief Vigilance Officer at East Central Railway, Director (Finance) at Railway Board, FA&CAO for Northern Railway HQ (B&B).
Apart fromExecutive Director of Finance (Commercial & PPP), he has also held the position of Executive Directorof Finance (Establishment) and for the Pay Commission.
He also held the additional charge of Director (Finance), Railtel Corporation of India, a listed CPSE for a brief period in 2022.
Currently, he holds the position of Government Director in Wabtec Locomotive Private Limited and Madhepura Electric Locomotive Private Limited (a JV of Government of India & Alstom).
Mr Mishra has been awardee of National Railway Award for outstanding service and contribution. He has completed various training programs, including those at ESCAP in London and Paris, INSEAD in Singapore, ICLIF in Kuala Lumpur, and ISB in Mohali. These programs focused on vertical interaction, organizational behaviour and communication skills for key managerial personnel and financial management.
Mr. Mishra has a strong academic background, with a Post Graduation in Physics, an LLB and an MBA in Finance.
